Necesse feels like a jack of all trades, master of none. I can’t necessarily blame it, though, since games in this genre have been building content for years, often outside of early access. As it stands, Necesse is a good game. It takes elements from various similar games and combines them into a fun mix of boss fighting, settlement building, adventure parties, and more. While it has the foundation of many great features, it still leaves a rather small gameplay loop, which becomes noticeable early on. That said, Necesse has a bright future with what it currently offers, and we hope to revisit it in the future.
