The beavers of Timberborn are such a delight to watch from the small survival group to the wooden metropolis of tomorrow. Choosing between two factions, Timberborn is a fantastic city builder with a surprising amount of depth. A fantastic tutorial showing each step without being obnoxious, focusing on the design of your city as well as the growth of your beaver citizens.

Timberborn presents plenty of creativity, visual and audio charm, as well as wonderful atmosphere. It does however feel more sandbox since there isn’t much direction outside of just growing your city. Once the major city issues like water,power, and supply have been solved, not much disaster awaits you anymore. Still a dam good addition to the genre we feel players will enjoy thoroughly
